Rajinikanth Thalaivar170 Is Announced

Superstar Rajinikanth who has been doing continuous films in different genres is not slowing down. Though he is yet to score a blockbuster of his calibre, it is highly appreciable even at the age of 72, he is giving offers to new age directors trying to catch up with current generation. All his recent films irrespective of results prove this point. Kabali, Kaala, Petta and Darbar.. all these films are different from each other and has peculiar narrative styles. His big budgeted film 2.0 with Shankar costarring Akshay Kumar has registered a pan India success produced by Lyca Productions.

Rajinikanth is currently doing Jailer directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. His next will be a guest role in his daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth's direction titled 'Lal Salam' AR Rahman is composing the music for this film. Today his latest film #Thalaivar170 is announced. It will be directed by TJ Gnanavel who won accolades and numerous awards for his film Jai Bhim with Suriya in the lead role. Rockstar Anirudh will be composing the music for this film. The shoot will begin very soon and it will hit the screens worldwide next year, 2024.

Thalaivar 170 is bankrolled by prestigious banner Lyca Productions which is like a home banner for Rajinikanth as his previous film Lal Salam is also being produced by the same banner. Subhaskaran is the Producer.
