Nandamuri Kalyanram who has recently delivered Blockbuster Bimbisara is coming with Amigos, an action thriller dealing with unique point of doppelgangers. The teaser has raised curiosity about the plot and the first song about friendship also clicked well with the listeners. Now Kalyanram is coming with remix of his uncle NBK's iconic song 'Enno Ratrulosthayi Gaani' from 'Dharmakshetram' (1992) in his 'Amigos'. Earlier Kalyan Ram did remix of NBK's superhit number 'Are O Samba' from 'Lorry Driver' (1990) for his Superhit 'Pataas' in 2015.
Today makers released the second song which is a remix of 'Enno Ratrulosthayi Gaani' from Amigos. The original song was crooned by SP Balasubraanyam and Chitra. The remix is sang by his son SP. Haran along with Sameera Bharadwaj. Maestro Ilaiyaraaja has composed the original while remix and additional arrangements were done by Ghibran. The video song also resembles same theme of original, an intimate song between the Balakrishna and Divyabharathi with forest backdrop amidst tribal dancers. The original was shot at night effect and the remix also done the same between Kalyan Ram and Ashika Ranganath but in different sets with vibrant visuals.
Ashika Ranganath looked sensuous with glamorous outfits while Kalyan Ram looked stylish with chiseled six pack physique. But, the remix lacks the original flavour of intimacy in the sound and feels like slow and old song. The energy that original composition has is missing in the remix version.
Amigos is written and directed by Rajender Reddy while happening production house Mythri Movie Makers are producing it. Kalyan Ram will be seen in triple role. The film will hit the screens on February 10th.
