Shahrukh Khan's comeback film Pathaan has bringing the box-office alive to its pre-pandemic days. It has been just two days since its release and SRK starrer is taking over the BO. After a tremendous opening day at the ticket window, the second day did equally good. The film easily joined the Rs 100 crore club on day 2, Bollywood’s Badshah seems to have brought an end to the Hindi cinema’s dry spell.
On its first day Collecting a whopping Rs 57 crore Pathaan set a new record for highest-grossing Hindi film released on a non-holiday. On day 2, the film is expected to collect around Rs 69 crore, considering that January 26 was a holiday. Which takes Pathaan to cross the Rs 100 crore mark, collecting Rs 126 crore in its first two days itself.
With Pathaan With this, King Khan’s 8th movie joined the Rs 100 crore club following Ra One, Don 2, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, Chennai Express, Happy New Year, Dilwale and Raees. While those comes under full run collections, Pathaan crossed 100 crore in two days shows the amount of success it has scored. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the spy action film costars Deepika Padukone as a ISI agent and John Abraham as a rogue RAW agent.
