Chiranjeevi mega secrets on new year

Mega Star Chiranjeevi is getting ready to entertain movie lovers with his mass entertainer Waltair Veerayya on January 13, 2023. On New Year, Chiranjeevi delighted all by sharing mega secrets in his musings.

>NewYear Celebrations

I wish everyone a happy new year and health, wealth, and prosperity to all. When I was young, I never used to go to parties like others. From college to my marriage, I used to meditate every December 31, at 11.30 PM in front of Lord Hanuman and pray for the wellbeing of everyone. I used to get up once people burst crackers at 0.00 hours and greet all. Even now Surekha is continuing this tradition. Children after growing up started partying and celebrating and we too are participating. But all these come only after prayers. Generally, everyone parties on 31st and goes to the temple on 1st. But we pray first and then party.

>On his journey in the film industry

When I decided to enter films, I used to question, why should people accept me as already Sr NTR,ANR,Krishna,Sobhan Babu used to be fair and handsome and I am wheatish. My interest and passion do not matter then I realized that people are craving for more when it comes to dances and stunts and so concentrated on it as people used to consider songs and fights as cigarette breaks and mini intervals.

>Amitabh Bachchan transformed himself over the years and is continuing as the superstar

Irrespective of stardom, image, and seniority, one should do roles according to age. This is what Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth are doing. Coming to me, I have been brooding over it. The younger generation came and they are doing dances quite well. Should I continue dancing? That is the reason why I did films like Sye Raa and Godfather bereft of dances and Acharya without a heroine. People appreciated me in my role as a middle-aged person in Godfather. I am also having another thought process which goes on whether I am bringing down my stature by confining myself to such films. When close aides told me ' People are still waiting for your dances, comedy, and action, I felt they are right. If we watch Waltair Veerayya stills, I feel there is no difference now and in the 90s. I feel people will definitely appreciate this film. Till people love me, I need to transform myself.

>Who among your children resembles you

Ram Charan.. Just like me, he also thinks that all are his family members. Even Surekha said that after us, we needn't worry as Ram Charan will take care of everything and everyone. But in one aspect we are poles apart. Ram Charan is very secretive. I am very outgoing. Ram Charan will use his words carefully. I sometimes emotions burst out and it will not take much time to evoke words from my heart. Sushmita is like my father. She always works hard while Sreja is calm like her mother. All are down to earth by God's grace.

>What is Surekha's main complaint?

When I used to return home late, she used to remark, did you ever remember how many days passed when you played with your children? Now when I am playing with my grandsons, she used to tease me, did you ever played like this with your children? Any father who wishes to come up in life will not play with their children, instead, they play with his grandchildren.

>Who are your critics

My wife is my biggest critic. Her criticism as a fan and as a critic helped me a lot many times. She made a few suggestions regarding Waltair Veerayya.

>Your recent happiest moment

Ram Charan is set to become a proud father. Ram Charan and Upasana came to my house and told Surekha, We have to tell father important matter. Where he is. Surekha came to me and said Ram Charan wanted to tell me something. I couldn't understand and get a little tensed. When they told me that Upasana is about to become mother and she was 2 months pregnant, I got emotional. Me and Upasana got tears. I hugged and kissed Charan. I caringly held Upasana. I have to tell another important thing. Two months back Surekhar went to Padmanabha Swamy Temple in Kerala along with her friends. Yesteryear heroine Radha showed her everything and took her to one place and said ' THere are many cradles. If you wish kids for your family members, put this doll in the cradle and swing' and gave her a baby doll. Surekha did it and after two months we heard the news and Surekha is overjoyed. We waited for one more month before sharing the news.

>On criticism over Pawan Kalyan

I am very pained. He is like a kid brother. He is my brother who ie like a kid. I brought him up in my own hands. For him, I and Surekha are like parents. Even he loves us a lot. He is not at all selfish and doesn't run after money. He never thought about himself. I am not telling like a brother but till recently he had no own house. When I told him to have his own house, he always used to evade it. He never used to have food in time and also do not bother about his dresses. He is trying his best to do something for society and entered dirty politics. After entering, dirt is bound to malign him. We should cooperate and encourage his earnest attempt. I am pained when few people cross the line and attack him. Laer the same people who abused Pawan Kalyan will come to me and invite me to their family functions and virtually beg me. I always feel that I have to interact with those who abused my brother.

>The secret you never shared with anyone

I always remark ' I will transform myself according to my age in performance and entertain people' but in my heart I wish to do young and energetic and heroic roles even at the age of 80s. Till now I haven't shared this secret.

>Enemies

I always try to make friends with my enemies. I know they cannot do anything to me. But I feel that I have few enemies. My philosophy is to win as many hearts as possible and not add a number of zeroes after one.

>Common People

As I did everything naturally and realistically, it helped others to think big and aspire to become stars. Once it came to a talk that ' we cannot be stars but if we are like Chiranjeevi, we can enter films'. They visualized themselves in me and started adoring me. I am happy that they drew inspiration and entered films. There are many like JD. Chakravarthy,Srikanth,Raviteja, Satyadev and also directors Bobby,Meher Ramesh who are my hardcore fans.

>My best friend

Lord Hanuman is my best friend. I grew up praying to Hanuman and he is my God, Friend, philosopher, and guide. I used to tell everything to him. I promised him that I will not be carried away by any bad habits and be his devotee with utmost devotion and discipline. This promise is taking me forward.

>Favorite Dancer

Chiranjeevi. Why because I used to design my one movements. When there was no source I used to do my own body movements and when I went to overseas, I learned to watch their dance movements. I used to tell our choreographers about Breakdance and told them that I have seen a new trend, break dance, and showed them the video feed I recorded and the same I learned after showing it to choreographers Tara and Saleem. I had no references.

During that time Michael Jackson's Dangerous was released. When I went to the USA, his jackets are getting sold. I purchased one and shot a few movements from the album in camera and showed it to my choreographers. I wore the same jacket and danced to the song Goli Mar in Donga.

Prabhu Deva came into the field with my inspiration. Later I modified myself from Prabhudeva. He is a dancer with great variation. I did what he expected from me. He always says 'Chiranjeevi is my best dancer'. When asked ' why Prabhu. Why are you telling all this to me.' he says ' You are the inspiration for small kids to dance like this. You created your own trend and showed and taught them to us. After that, I learned few and taught you the same. My first impression on you remained intact. You are the best sir'. Same is Lawrence. I recognised the talent in Prabhudeva and Lawrence and then we on mutual coordination reached new heights.
