Rude shock to Samantha Yashoda

Samantha's female-centric film Yashoda is getting a good response in the theatres at the box office. The film directed by Hari and harish dealt with illegal surrogacy and how the medical mafia takes advantage of poor women in need of surrogacy and other illegal activities.

The film is set for OTT streaming and in the midst of all this, the film unit got a rude shock from a local court. It is known that the film showed EVA Hospital indulging in illegal surrogacy activities. Now, the management of EVA IVF hospital approached the court requesting to stop the film's OTT release.

The Hyderabad civil court after hearing to the petition served notices to the filmmakers asking them to respond and posted the next hearing to December 19. In fact, Yashoda OTT streaming is scheduled on December 19,2022. The film starred Unni Mukundan, Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, Rao Ramesh,Murali Sharma,Sampath Raj,Divya Sripada in key roles.
