Srilankan beauty Jacqueline Fernandez landed in huge problem when her name cropped up in Rs 200crs money-laundering case pertaining to con man Sukesh Chandrashekhar. Jacqueline Fernandez claimed innocence and even went on record that she was unaware of Sukesh Chandrasekhar but the findings of the Enforcement Directorate exposed her.
When Patiala High Court summoned her to appear in front of it last week, Jacqueline sneaked into the courtroom disguising herself as a lawyer. Jacqueline Fernandez who turned extra cautious applied for interim bail and the court granted her. Her lawyers moved High Court for interim bail in the extortion case and the court granted her bail on the bond of Rs 50000.
The court adjourned the next hearing to October 22. Additional Sessions Judge Shailender Malik sought a response from the ED on the bail plea, till then her regular bail is pending before the court. Already, Delhi Police interrogated her for her involvement in the same case.
