All the right-thinking movie lovers are questioning 'Is it Right Samantha?'. When Tollywood's celebrity couple Naga Chaitanya and Samantha parted ways ending their marital relationship on mutual consent, many thought that it will end Samantha's filmi career. This is because taking on the influential families in the film industry is like a death knell. But much to the surprise of all, Samantha stunned all by doing the special song Oo Antava Oo Antava in Allu Arjun's Pushpa and rose like a phoenix. Thus Samantha, showed no one can crush her personally and professionally. At that time it was rumored that Chiranjeevi helped Samantha to get out of depression by recommending her to do the special song in Pushpa. Samantha in a way stamped her mark and spark on the silver screen in a sensational manner. 

Post-divorce Samantha is shocking all by posting red hot photos and mostly semi-clad in bikinis. Samantha is under the impression that by doing so she will be gaining all the media attention and land her in Bollywood and Hollywood projects and at the same time, shut down all her trollers who have been trolling her mercilessly branding her as a porn star. But people feel that Samantha is doing the wrong thing. Samantha is starring in a mythological entertainer Shakuntalam directed by Gunasekhar and also in a thriller Yashoda in Hari and Harish's direction. 

Both the roles are female-oriented ones and Shakuntala's role is the most revered. How can people accept Samantha in the role of Shakuntala after all her dare bare acts? People cannot digest her in the role of Shakuntala as they only remember her red hot and sleazy photos. Similarly, they cannot accept her in the role of Yashoda which is a female-oriented film. This is the undoing of Samantha who used to be the top star and is in contrast to Nayanthara who despite suffering two heartbreaks with Prabhudeva and Simbu, cast a magic spell in the role of Goddess Sitha in Balakrishna's Srirama Rajyam and also after that started doing only lady oriented roles staying away from exposing.

The same is the case with Vijayashanti who was hailed as lady Amitabh Bachchan. After attaining stardom they stopped doing glamor roles. Seems Samantha is taking a cue from Amala Paul who after divorce started doing bold roles and hot photo shoots. Samantha is going the other way and is indulging in red hot photo shoots after attaining stardom, bringing down her reputation. Hope Samantha introspects and changes her course of action.
