Celebrity couple blessed with twins

Star singer Chinmayi Sripada and filmmaker Rahul Ravindran got a twin delight when they are blessed with the twins. Chinmayi Sripada shared the twins holding their hands together and revealed the names of the twins as  “Driptah and Sharvas..The new and forever centre of our Universe​”. 

Singer Sripada is renowned for her free,frank and no holds barred views and this often landed in trouble on social media. Congratulatory messages are pouring in from all quarters. Chinmayi and Rahul married in 2014. Chinmayi maintained secrecy over her pregnancy and the couple revealed the good news only after the birth of twins. 

As Chimayi maintained secrecy over her pregnancy, many questioned whether she opted for surrogacy. Chinmayi responded  “I’m absolutely loving these people who are DM-ing me asking if I had twins through a surrogate just because I didn’t post pictures of me being pregnant. Only those who were my innermost circle knew because I was protecting myself.” and continued “I was and will always be guarded about my personal life, my family, my friends circle. Photos of our kids won’t be on our socials either for a long while.” Chinmayi also revealed that she sang a bhajan during her cesarean as her twins entered the world. She added, "Get a grip of that. More on this later. But for now this is enough."
