Monday test for Vikram and Major?

This Friday movie lovers from across the country got treated to three different genre of entertainers. While Tollywood young hero Adivi Sesh came with pan India entertainer Major, a biopic on Major Sundeep Unnikrishnan which is powered by Super Star Mahesh Babu, Universal Hero Kamal Haasan came up with a thriller Vikram directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. 

The film also had Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil and this is powered in Telugu by Nitin's father Sudhakar Reddy on Sreshth Movies banner. Amidst all this, Khiladi Akshay Kumar known for his patriotic entertainers in Bollywood came up with a historical film Prithivraj, a biopic on the warrior king Prithvi Raj Chauhan. The film starred Miss World Manushi Chillar. 

Much to the shock of all, while Major riding on the emotions of the movie lovers for Major Sundeep Unnikrishnan opened up to good collections in Hindi and Telugu, Kamal Haasan's Vikram opened up to good talk and Akshay Kumar's Prithviraj got very fewer collections. Now all eyes are on Vikram and Major and which among them will pass the Monday litmus test. It is known that weekends always witness an increase in collections and the real test starts when the week starts on Monday.
