Maverick director Ram Gopal Varma lined up many interesting and controversial projects. One such project is Konda. The film is a biopic of Congress politicians Konda Murali and Konda Surekha. The film starred Thrigun and Ira Mor as Konda Murali and Konda Surekha.
The trailer started off with Ram Gopal Varma's voice-over on how good takes birth sometimes from the evil deeds and how police oppression resulted in an uprising from the backward classes and how they revolted under the leadership of Konda Murali and Surekha. Dialogues are powerful, impactful, and intense highlighting the atrocities of the uppercaste people.
DSR elevated the scenes with his background music while Joshi Mahabharat's cinematography gave the required impetus. The trailer looked routine in the backdrop of the 1990s Naxal moment and full of violence. Manish Thakur is the editor for the film produced by Sushmitha Patel. The film stars Prudhvi,Ramprasad,Tulasi,LB SriRam in important roles.
