Balakrishna's Akhanda directed by Boyapati Srinu is releasing on December 2nd. The makers today celebrated the film's pre-release event at Shilpa Kala Vedika, Hyderabad. Rajamouli and Allu Arjun graced the event as the special guest and chief guest.
Speaking at the event Balakrishna requested Andhra Pradesh and Telangana governments to support the Tollywood industry as it is in dire straits. Balakrishna revealed the secret behind Akhanda's name reciting numerous Sanskrit slokas. He shared his association with Allu Arjun and his grandfather legend Allu Ramalingiah. He wished Allu Arjun's Pushpa, Ram Charan, NTR's RRR, Chiranjeevi's Acharya all the best. He delighted all by taking the name of Allu Arjun, Rajamouli, Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, and also Jr NTR. Nandamuri fans got super excited when he took the name saying 'Mana NTR'.
Earlier Thaman compared Balakrishna to Lord Shiva of Tollywood. Boyapati revealed the reason behind Balakrishna's injury and said he was behind its aggravation. He said the previous night Balakrishna slipped and injured his shoulder and when Balakrishna agreed to shoot for the song, he proceeded ahead with the shoot.
Rajamouli released the song Jai Balayya and it drove all his fans crazy. He said Boyapati elevates Balakrishna's heroism to another level and said he turns him into an atom bomb on screen. He said he will watch the film on the first day in theatres. Allu Arjun showered praises on Balakrishna for his diction and dedication and said none can deliver dialogues extempore like Balakrishna. He remembered Sr NTR and said he grew up watching his films.
