Major Teaser Launch postponed

Adivi Sesh is gearing up for pan-Indian film Major. The film is teaser launch was supposed to take place on March 28 in Mumbai but due to sudden upsurge in Covid cases and the untimely demise of director Sashi Kiran Tikka’s father have led the postponement of Major teaser.

Sharing the same, Adivi Sesh tweeted in a quirky way, which reads, “Wanted to do a national event for this national film in Mumbai in a big way. Slight change of plans :) Will keep you updated. Eppudu occhaam anadhi kaadhu annaya...Bullet....(well you get the idea) Reporting soon!”

Major is based on the life of Sandeep Unnikrishnan, the NSG commando, who gave up his life fighting during 26/11 attacks in Mumbai. The film also stars Sobhita Dhulipala and Saiee Manjrekar and it shows the life of the martyred which is not known to many. The actor did lot of homework to understand and transform himself to be like to martyred. Major bankrolled by Mahesh Babu is slated for release on July 2.
