Sam Hails Kangana!

Samantha Akkineni has hailed Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut’s Thalaivi trailer which got unveiled today, March 23 on the occasion of her birthday. The trailer has shown the glimpses of late CM and actress J Jayalalithaa. cinematic journey to her entry into politics and how she reigns in the patriarchal society.  While Kangana has been pouring in appreciation for her immaculate depiction on Jayalalitha, Samantha also showered parses on her.

Samantha tweeted, "#ThalaiviTrailer is outstanding..@KanganaTeam..You are the bravest, most daring and indisputably the most talented actress of our generation...#Vijay sir goosebumps stuff just goosebumps stuff...Can’t wait to witness this magic in the theatre."

The trailer launch happened in Chennai and Kangana is making comeback in Kollywood after 13-long-years. Spekaing at the trailer luanch she got emotional she she spoke about her director AL Vijay. She said that the filmmakers has been cordial with her whihc is a rare quality among the filmmakers to have that rapport wth female actors. She then went on to say that, she has not experienced any groupism in the South and has been inclusive to outsiders. 

Thalaivi is a pan-India film which is set for release on April 23.
