Rajinikanth Quarantines Self After Crew Contracts Covid

Superstar Rajinikanth who was full throttle to finish the shoot of his upcoming film, Annaatthe got a jolt. Eight crew members of Annaatthe have contracted Covid which has left the team unit to isolate themselves.

The shoot of Annaatthe was taking place in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. And Thalaivar was keen to wrap up the shoot as he wanted to focus on his political journey. Apparently, the Robot actor was shooting for nearly 16 hours a day to finish his schudle and shift his focus on politics. He had planned to wrap up the shoot by December 28 as he ad plans to make big announcement about his political party on December 31. However, the Covid scare to his Annaatthe team has given him a break as the shoot has been postponed. 

Rajniktah has now undergone Covid test which has come negative. The 70-year-old and team have now left to Chennai where they would be in quarentine. Directed by Siruthai Siva, the film also stars Nayanthara, Keerthy Suresh, Meena and Khushbhu in pivotal roles.
