Dil Raju, Allu Garu… Are You Hearing This?

Are we really prepared and ready to watch movies on big screen? None of us would have a firm YES answer for sure because COVID left a scary remark on all our lives and we are yet to come out of it. Being in dual minds seems to be more dangerous than that of any deadly pandemic. Yes, the current position of many producers and distributors is all the same.

With theaters being opened in few parts of the country from today, reports say the turn-out is very pale and managements may not recover even the tickets printing costs or for that matter they incur losses. Amidst these confusing times with dilemma everywhere in public minds, definitely producers should take more time to plan any of their releases.

‘Even if we plan a big ticket film for release… what’s guarantee that movie enthusiasts will take the queue at ticket counters? Until and unless a film nothing less than Baahubali arrives in theaters, none of our audience will divert attention towards movies. 

There are people like Dil Raju, Suresh Babu, Allu Aravind and Asian Narang who are producers cum distributors cum exhibitors. When none of them are coming forward to take a risk, why will others take a chance? We need to just wait and watch the game till Pongal,’ opined an anonymous film maker.
