Director Sukumar who just delivered non-Baahubali hit with Rangasthalam starring Ram Charan will next be directing Mahesh Babu in a commercial film. The director who made a disaster 1 Nenokkadine with Mahesh Babu is taking extreme care to provide blockbuster to the superstar. Mythri Movie Makers who produced Rangsthalam will be bankrolling the new project.
It is heard that, Sukumar has demanded huge hike in his pay for Mahesh Babu’s film. However, producers are said to have readily accepted. Actually, the pay demanded by Sukumar is not that big compared the remuneration charged by few other star directors in Tollywood.
Moreover, Sukumar mastered the art of making films in limited budget. He made Rangasthalam in moderate budget, far less compared to Charan’s previous films. Entire film was shot in a set erected in Hyderabad and few scenes were filmed in Godavari districts.
The yet to be titled film of Mahesh Babu will go on floors later this year after the actor wraps up his 25th film with Vamsi Paidipally.
