Super Star’s ‘Kadhaa Ganam’

Kannada Super Star Shivaraj Kumar is an invaluable addition to Nandamuri Balakrishna’s 100th film ‘Gauthami Puthra Satakarni’ star casting. In fact, the magnum opus hasn’t got scope for inclusion of Shivaraj Kumar into the casting team early on. By the time, when production came to penultimate stage with ‘Singhamu Pai Langhinchenu’ song to be shot, the idea of approaching Kannada Star Hero was put forward.

As per the reports we have till now, Shivaraj Kumar will be the man to appear and render ‘Singhamu Pai Langhinchenu’ song. To be more analytical, this is exactly not a song, it is called ‘Kadhaa Ganam.’ This is a traditional folk theatre form of story narration (like Yaksha Ganam, Burra Katha in Telangana) where dialogues, music, costumes and stage will be unique.

When GPSK production members thought Shivaraj Kumar’s heroic stature can sync perfectly with the song, they shot it in no time. This song can surely be one of the major highlights in film. Director Krish has to be appreciated for selecting such forgotten themes and re-introducing them in main stream cinema.
