As one more day is left for Vikram, Nayanathara and Nithya Menon starrer ‘Inkokkadu’ is slated to hit the screens on a big way, director Anand Shankar revealed some important information about the project and how he enjoyed working on it. As mentioned before, Vikram for the first time is playing dual roles, one of a RAW agent Akhil and second is a negative shaded role Love. While many thought that Love character is of a transgender, Anand Shankar refuted such rumors.
‘Akhil is a run-of-the-mill character which every artist can pull off easily. Though, I felt it exciting to design Akhil role but there isn’t any necessity for Vikram to play it. I can replace Vikram with any actor for Akhil. However, Love is one role which is unique and different. Other than Vikram, no one can touch it. I took it as a challenge to pen Love and when Vikram took it up, I worked harder to make it enjoyable,’ Anand Shankar said.
‘Please, don’t get deceived by trailer. Audience thought incorrectly about Love. This role isn’t that of a transgender. Love is crazy on body language and unpredictable. Audience will connect more with Love than with Akhil for sure. I’ve designed Love to entertain you and not to insult anyone,’ he added.
