Star Singer Turns A Beggar On Road!

We cannot forget the charm of star playback singer Sonu Nigam. He sang in many Indian languages and now became a ‘Roadside Ustaad.’ Yes, Sonu went on a roadside trip of Mumbai singing nearly 25 songs for about an hour each at various Mumbai locations. Dressed up as an old beggar, Sonu sang with harmonium in hand on Mumbai streets. Good thing is people did not recognize him and he enjoyed it.

‘People around liked my voice because they do not know I am Sonu Nigam. I was able to attract them with my voice. If people would have recognized me, I would have felt embarrassed. With none of my body guards, managers around; I was sitting alone on footpath singing. The schedule was, one hour behind Chandan theatre in Mumbai, one hour in front of Chandan and one hour at Four Bungalows,’ Sonu informed.

He also released a short 3 minute clipping of this feat on Mumbai roads and got wide applause from netigens. ‘It was not easy to sit under the sun and I prepared well to perform. So, many people joined me and some of them were crying while listening to my voice,’ Sonu Nigam added.
