All the speculations and extra interest creating gossips on ‘Oopiri’ satellite prices can now be laid to rest. Last couple of days, there was heavy discussion on ‘Oopiri’ TV rights having sold to Sun Network for magnificent number of 14 Crores (inclusive of Tamil ‘Thozha’ rights). Officially, we are here by informed that PVP Cinema hasn’t sold the satellite rights for any TV channel and negotiations are still in the process with two of the top TV channels from Telugu and Tamil states stood in the race.

‘Rs. 14 Crores isn’t the rate locked because the figure is surely to go higher than it. ‘Oopiri’ is a hit in theaters with a section of audience touched so close to their hearts. So, PVP is moving cautiously in finalizing the TV deal because film holds a definite repeat value to generate high, sustained TRPs,’ informed a source from PVP Cinema.
