No Sequel To This Hit Action Film!

Vishal Reddy made a superb entry into Tollywood with hit ‘Pandem Kodi’ dubbed from Tamil ‘Sandai Kozhi’ with screen writing specialist Linuswamy as director. The movie turned out to be an instant clicker for Vishal in Telugu states. Then he went on developing a dedicated Fan base for himself with each film. Revenues of Vishal’s new Telugu films bank heavily on identity of action base in ‘Pandem Kodi.’

Sequel for such milestone film is of course a good idea. So, ‘Sandai Kozhi 2’ under Linguswamy direction was materialized and the project almost went on sets. Of course, ‘Pandem Kodi 2’ would have been a best title if the film really wrapped its shoot. ‘It is very sad to see certain filmmakers lacking commitment towards projects. Guess actors should stick to acting and directors to directing. Sanda Kozhi 2 cancelled,’ Vishal informed his followers.

His lines clearly mention a meaning that something isn’t going well between producer, director and hero. For better reasons, the project is declared shelved. Meanwhile, there is ‘Kathakali’ from Vishal still to release in Telugu and ‘Marudhu’ in Tamil.
