KTR Keeps Fire Under Lokesh!

Telangana Chief Minister KCR’s son Ktr’s gradual rise in charisma reached the ultimate peak with TRS winning GHMC elections by a landslide majority. In result, KCR blessed his son with an additional Municipal Administration portfolio making Ktr much stronger. The upheaval in Ktr’s image as a politician is obviously to build the pressure on neighboring Andhra Pradesh state CM Naidu to ensure that his son Lokesh also steals the show.

However, Lokesh neither contested in Assembly elections so far nor was he nominated for council. Here the pressure tactics is working well in TDP as some of the leaders close to Naidu are prompting on elevation of Lokesh with a Cabinet berth. If the issue fails with State, there are also probable chances of Lokesh to be nominated for Rajya Sabha elections scheduled in June and make sure of getting him a Union Cabinet berth.

CM Naidu is holding the discussions with close party members to decide on Lokesh’s near future.  If Lokesh is sent to Delhi circles, he will be away from both Telangana and Andhra politics or else if given a Cabinet in AP then Naidu has to replace someone to manage the TDP affairs in Telangana. Let’s see, what’s it in Naidu’s mind?
