Director Gunasekhar may be completely satisfied with ‘Rudhramadevi’ on-screen output but producer Gunasekhar still has to swim a long way to reach a safe shore, on commercial terms. The historical film queued for release from very long time has also missed its last announced date of September 4 which means Gunasekhar still has much of work to do. Currently, Guna is analyzing on availability of other dates within this month with respect to opposition releases.
Anyways, a matter of respite for ‘Rudhramadevi’ is Hindi dubbing rights (including satellite, theatrical, audio, digital etc) are sold to Abhishek Nama and Reliance jointly. Apparently, the exact figure for which the rights are sold is still to come out but inner sources suggested something in the scale of Rs.5 to 7 Crores. On the whole, Gunasekhar is trying all ways available before him to see for a spectacular release in as many languages as possible.
Earlier to this, Abhishek Nama released Mahesh Babu ‘Srimanthudu’ in Nizam region through Abhishek Pictures to pocket decent profits. As we do know, Dil Raju is releasing ‘Rudhramadevi’ in Nizam area. Meanwhile, Tamil version business of this historical film is also closed.
