'Srimanthudu' Is Not A 'Bahubali'

We come to the dusk of glorious ‘Bahubali’ success as the new sun dawning in August month is Mahesh Babu’s ‘Srimanthudu.’ The records are sure to crumble down before Tollywood Super Star but none of the Ghattamaneni Fans are willing to see a comparison between ‘Bahubali’ and ‘Srimanthudu’ because both these films are made in two different genres.

‘Lack of emotions and story balanced with strong visual effects, high budget and lavish presentation define ‘Bahubali,’ it is not the same for ‘Srimanthudu’ which is a pure story based film standing on Mahesh Babu’s immaculate charisma. ‘Bahubali’ has a wow factor in its VFX to attract audience while Mahesh Babu himself is central attraction to beat the strong opposition.      

If media is still gluttonous for drawing comparisons then ‘Srimanthudu’ is apt to be comparable with firm contented ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ and not a flabby ‘Bahubali.’ There will be a strong answer for all of us on August 7th,’ Mahesh Babu Fans are saying with aplomb. Well, story based films always have a long shelf life and needs less of publicity magic. ‘Srimanthudu’ should be one among them.
