As reported many times, there are serious doubts raised by a section of Mahesh Babu Fans on commercial viability of a message oriented subject like hero adopting a village as we seen in ‘Srimanthudu’ releasing on August 7. However, director Koratala Siva rejected all such suspicions stating that ‘Srimanthudu’ is a perfect commercial entertainer which would see immense response at ticket windows.

‘When I am dealing a hero like Mahesh Babu, I cannot restrict myself to an introduction fight followed by four punch dialogues, five songs and some six comedy scenes. I should utilize the space and I penned ‘Srimanthudu’ story with utmost care. Primarily my concentration was on dialogues because Mahesh Babu spells any lengthy lines at ease.

You will observe a new commercial dimension in ‘Srimanthudu’ and one would be wondered on finding such new format in storytelling. When I started penning the script, I even came across a new angle in family emotions. It’s for the first time in world cinema this new angle is touched and presented,’ says a confident Koratala Siva.
