Janhvi Kapoor on her rumoured Tirupati wedding

Bollywood star Janhvi Kapoor isn't one to let rumors define her personal life, especially when it comes to her relationship with Shikhar Pahariya. Recently, an Instagram paparazzi account speculated about Janhvi tying the knot with Shikhar in a traditional ceremony at Tirupati Temple. However, the "Dhadak" actor swiftly shut down the gossip with a witty response.

Commenting on the post, Janhvi quipped, "Kuch bhi (What even!)", prompting fans to react with a flurry of laughing emojis. Users humorously remarked, "You don’t even know," and "They will force you to get married."

Shikhar, the grandson of former Maharashtra Chief Minister Sushilkumar Shinde, has a longstanding connection with Janhvi, although the couple reportedly split at one point for undisclosed reasons. Despite this, they have been seen together on several occasions, hinting at a reconciliation.

While Janhvi has kept her love life private, she did open up during an appearance on "Koffee with Karan." When asked about the three most important people in her life, Janhvi named her father, Khushi, and then hesitated before mentioning Shikhar, whom she lovingly calls 'Shikhu,' revealing her affectionate nickname for him.

Earlier this year, Janhvi and Shikhar were seen offering prayers at Tirupati Temple. In another public display of affection, Janhvi attended the premiere of "Maidaan" last month in Mumbai, wearing a white suit and a necklace bearing the name "Shikhu" – a clear nod to her beau.

Janhvi's father and producer, Boney Kapoor, expressed his fondness for Shikhar during an interview with Zoom. "I love Shikhar," he said, adding, "In fact, a couple of years back, Janhvi was not seeing him, but I was still friendly to him. Shikhar could never be an ex."
