Arshad Warsi Wants A Closure For Munna Bhai Franchise

Munnabhai MBBS was a surprise blockbuster back then. It was released during times where Sanjay Dutt was out of form and not even considering as a big hero, Raj Kumar Hirani is unknown to everyone. But, the film worked like a charm at the boxoffice and audience fell in love with Munna Bahi and Circuit. The second installment also received similar warmth, love and success. Ever since there were news about third installment from time to time but didnt got materialized. 

Arshad Warsi opened up recently on the third installment of Rajkumar Hirani’s Munna Bhai franchise and said that the series needs to end. The two parts, Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. (2003) and Lage Raho Munna Bhai (2006), feature him playing Circuit, the sidekick to Sanjay Dutt’s character, Munna.

Speaking about the third part in the franchise, the actor said, "Vidhu Vinod Chopra wants to make it. Rajkumar Hirani also wants it to be made, and Sanjay Bhai also wants to do it and I will do it too. But the film is not being made yet."

He added, "Raju has three great scripts for the sequel. Some things are missing here and there. I don't think that's happening. Now a lot of time has passed. I told Raju that whatever begins, also has an end. Looks like we left the Munna Bhai film franchise on interval. Everyone is impatient because it is not over yet. Munna Bhai series needs to end,”.
