Prabhu Deva, AR Rahman Film ARRPD6 Announced

Some combinations create instant excitement. Mostly these combinations comprises Actor, Director, or Hero, Heroine. But, we rarely seen music director and choreographer, actor's combination attain cult status. One such combination is AR Rahman. The magic of iconic duo started with 'Chikubuku Raile' song from Director Shankar's first film 'Gnetleman'. Both AR Rahman and Prabhu Deva created sensation with their craft during 90's. They both took Kadhalan / Premikudu to a whole new level with their combination. Both of them worked together for 'Kay Sera Sera' song for 'Pukar'.

Earlier this year, it was reported about Prabhu Deva and music director AR Rahman collaborating on a film after 25 years. Earlier today, Prabhu Deva shared three posters on Instagram that announce the commencement of the shoot of the film, which carries the tentative title ARRPD6. Behindwoods founder and CEO Manoj NS is writing, producing, and directing the film.

The film is reportedly a dance musical. It also stars Yogi Babu, Aju Varghese, Satz, Arjun Ashokan, Nishma Chengappa, Singampuli, Lollu Sabha Swaminathan, TSR Srinivasan, Ramar, Dr Santhosh Jacob, Redin Kingsley, Sushmitha Nayak, Rajendran, Deepa Shankar, and Ramkumar Natarajan.

It has cinematography by Anoop V Shylaja, editing by Raymond Derrick Crasta, as well as choregraphy by Sekhar VJ, Piyush Chazia, and Sandy. The director is also producing the film with Divya Manoj and Praveen Elak. Apart from Tamil, the film will release in Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam.
