Mammootty Turbo arriving sooner than expected

The makers of Mammootty's "Turbo" have announced a change in the release date, moving it up from June 13 to May 23. Directed by Vysakh, this marks his third collaboration with Mammootty after "Pokkiri Raja" (2010) and "Madhura Raja" (2019).

"Turbo" is touted as an action-packed entertainer with a script by Midhun Manuel Thomas. Interestingly, Mammootty had a cameo in Midhun's last directorial, "Abraham Ozler," which premiered earlier this year.

The film also features Anjana Jayaprakash, Kannada actor Raj B Shetty, and Telugu actor Sunil in key roles. It boasts a talented technical team including cinematographer Vishnu Sarma, composer Christo Xavier, and editor Shameer Muhammed.

Produced by Mammootty Kampany and presented by Dulquer Salmaan's Wayfarer Films, "Turbo" has been acquired for overseas distribution by Truth Global Films.

Mammootty had a remarkable 2023 with successful ventures across various genres. He began 2024 with a cameo in "Abraham Ozler" and followed it with a captivating performance in "Bramayugam." The actor also has "Bazooka," a high-concept thriller directed by debutant Deeno Dennis, currently in post-production.
